When the temperature drops, a weekend can shrink down to the couch and a streaming queue. Arkansas has better options, and they involve pinball flippers, go-kart pedals, bowling balls, and foam blasters. This list covers seven indoor spots across the state where grown-ups can play games, race, bowl, and blow off steam without stepping into the cold for long.
Some lean toward a night out with friends, some work for a date, and a few welcome kids during the day, so check each place before you plan your trip. Grab a friend, pick a city, and give the winter blahs something to lose to.
1. Pinpoint, Fayetteville, AR

Pinpoint sits at 23 N Block Ave in downtown Fayetteville, and it is built around one idea: play games with a drink in hand. The lineup mixes vintage and modern arcade games with pinball machines, and the decor rotates with the holidays.
The bar side is a full one, with beer, cocktails, wine, and happy hour specials. Seating is casual and the space is set up well for groups.
Planning is simple because reservations are not accepted. Outside food is allowed, there is no table service, and free Wi-Fi is available. Parking includes free and paid lots plus street spots.
Doors open at 4 PM Tuesday through Sunday and stay open until 2 AM, with Monday closed. Friday night and Saturday evening get the biggest crowds, so weekday afternoons are easier if you want a machine to yourself.
2. Vortex Arcade, Sherwood, AR

Here is an arcade where the quarters stay in your pocket. Vortex Arcade in Sherwood runs on free play, so one admission covers the machines.
The floor includes classic arcade cabinets and pinball. There are also couches and TVs set up with older consoles, plus a big screen for movies. N64 favorites like GoldenEye and Mario Party are part of the draw.
Adult admission is around $15, and the venue lists unlimited play at $10 per hour. It is family-friendly, with kid discounts and active military discounts.
Hours are limited. It is closed Monday and Tuesday, opens at 5 PM Wednesday and Thursday, and runs later on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is a short day, noon to 6 PM.
3. 810 Entertainment – Fort Smith, Fort Smith, AR

Trivia night, a date night, or a bowling night can all happen under one roof at 810 Entertainment on Rogers Avenue. It is a bowling alley with an upscale feel and a lot of ways to spend an evening.
Beyond the lanes, the lobby has pool tables, darts, corn hole, extra large table top games, and an arcade room. There is also a bar and a large food menu that includes woodfired pizza.
The venue is smoke-free and welcomes families too, so daytime visits can look different from late night ones. Walk-ins are accepted, and there is free parking.
Hours stretch from 3 PM on weekdays, with Friday and Saturday running until 1 AM. Saturday and Sunday open at 11 AM. Active military discounts are listed.
4. Hijinx: The Funtivity Spot | Bowling, Laser Tag, Arcade Games, Ropes Course, Playground | JT’s Grill Restaurant, Jonesboro, AR

A ropes course inside a bowling alley is not something you see every day. Hijinx in Jonesboro packs bowling, laser tag, a rock wall, a foam tower, a ball pit, and a big arcade into one building on Shelby Drive.
That variety makes it a good pick when a group wants to stay inside for hours. You can bowl a game, race through laser tag, then climb something before lunch.
Food is on site through JT’s Grill Restaurant, and a snack bar and party rooms are available. It is a family center, so expect kids around, especially earlier in the day.
Friday and Saturday hours run until 1 AM, and other nights close at 10 PM. Saturday opens at 10 AM, and Tuesday opens as early as 9 AM. Parking is free.
5. K1 Speed Rogers, Rogers, AR

Electric karts, a sheltered track, and a lap time to brag about make K1 Speed an easy cold-weather call. The Rogers location on West Walnut Street is part of a chain of indoor racing centers built for all skill levels.
Nonracers are covered as well. There is a restaurant, a bar, and an arcade, so a group can split between driving and hanging out.
Buying tickets in advance is recommended, especially for busy times like Tuesday evening and Saturday. Party services are offered, and parking is free.
Doors open at noon Monday through Thursday, 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday, and Friday and Saturday run until midnight. The crowd is family-friendly, so go later in the evening if you want more of an adult scene.
6. Action Jacks Family Fun & Entertainment, Conway, AR

Gel blasters, laser tag, archery games, and axe throwing sit on the activity list at Action Jacks in Conway. The paintball-style play is low-impact and fully indoors.
There is also an escape room, plenty of arcade games and prize machines, and a kitchen. A full bar rounds things out for adults.
It works as both a family spot and an adult hangout, with a playground for kids and gender-neutral restrooms. Party services and active military discounts are available.
Find it at 655 Equity Ave. It is closed Monday, opens at 3 PM Tuesday through Thursday, and stays open until 10 PM Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours are noon to 8 PM. Parking is free.
7. Hamilton Hangout, Hot Springs, AR

Hot Springs has plenty of ways to warm up, and Hamilton Hangout offers a lively one on Central Avenue. It combines bowling lanes with a cool theme, an arcade, and a full bar and grill.
Arcade games cover a wide range of ages, and Connect 4 Hoops is a noted favorite. The lanes and games are new, and the venue is kept clean.
For adults, the full-size bar has game TVs and specialty drinks, and the menu offers a wide selection of food. It is also family-friendly and good for kids birthday parties.
Hours start at 2 PM Monday through Thursday and 10 AM Friday through Sunday. Friday closes at midnight and Saturday at 1 AM. Saturday afternoon into night is the busiest stretch.
